
Our Gapped Rectangular Tape-Wound Cores are precision magnetic cores made of low-loss CRGO grain-oriented silicon steel. Manufactured by automatic tape winding and high-vacuum annealing, these integral rectangular cores support customizable air gaps from 0.2mm to 15mm.
Featuring low residual magnetism, stable batch performance and a spacious rectangular winding window, they fit perfectly inside square module housings. Widely used for automotive and industrial high-precision current sampling, Hall sensors and small power inductors. Full custom dimensions and air gap tolerances available.

Q1: What is the difference between gapped rectangular tape-wound core and split C core?
A1: Our core is a single non-separable piece. Split C cores are two detachable halves for direct busbar mounting. Our rectangular gapped core delivers better precision and lower leakage flux for pre-wound sensor modules.
Q2: Can air gap and dimensions be customized?
A2: Yes. Air gap range: 0.2–15mm. We customize OD/ID/height, air gap tolerance and insulation coating according to drawings.
Q3: Are your cores vacuum annealed?
A3: All cores go through high-vacuum annealing to remove winding stress, guaranteeing stable magnetic performance for automotive-grade projects.
Q4: Can you provide test reports and material certificates?
A4: We supply raw material certificates, dimension inspection reports and magnetic test data including BH curve, AL value and core loss. IATF16949 documentation is available for automotive orders.
